Eugeneans are struggling to stay ahead
Almost half (42%) of households in Eugene are struggling to meet basic needs. Far too many fall into homelessness. While, as a community, we are striving to reduce these numbers, the wages of the average worker has not kept up with inflation and the costs of living. As your City Councilor for Ward 2, I will support our collective belief that people should be paid a living wage. I support attracting businesses who pay living wage and union jobs to ensure people who work here can afford to live here.
